I have constantly been trying to find ways to slash my grocery bills what with the new baby and rising food costs. The other thing is that I'm pretty frugal and my husband is well, not, thus the reason for my search. I ran across an article on GroceryGame.com and read that it costs about 13 bucks a month. What I wanted to know was if anyone has tried this and what your experience was. Ideally, I'd be able to shop in a way that I could at least start buying a few organic foods (let's face it, I'm poor as a churchmouse AND I live in Massachusetts, so don't get me started on the cost of everything there.)

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

The coupons in my area were always for items I did not buy anyway. The deals were great if we ate mostly prepackaged food.
I check the websites of the grocery stores I shop to see the weekly sales. I end up shopping at about 3 places and do nearly all of my cooking from scratch. I think I save as much as I can.

You can look back at the numerous other threads about this same topic.
It varies by person, so I suggest you read a bit and see if any of these scenerios relate to you.
Worse case try it for 4 weeks for $1, worse that happens is you are out a $1.
good luck

I started doing it last week and so far like it. I am not a huge "from sractch" cooker so its been nice. We eat healthy dinners and I bake our own bread, but on my shopping trip last week I saved a ton of money on granola bars, cereal, etc. Not junk but still healthy stuff.
The best advice given to me tho was to save up a a bunch of coupons before you do it. A lot of times it calls for coupons from a few weeks back. You can still save money without them, but not as much
