I think you are doing great things and just have a couple of ideas after reading everyone elses...
Preschool: Do you have someone in your area that has a home daycare? Maybe you and that person could barter...you bring your child there maybe not everyday but let's say 2-3 times a week for 4 hours and in return you babysit for like 2 saturdays a month or maybe one day and you clean that person's house in return...just an idea!
Food: Sounds like you are doing a good job. I second the idea of cooking once and eating all month. That is what we do and it helps keep us out of the store...it's also nice in the fall winter because you are making casseroles and soups and that's what you feel like making! I would also start making your own bread and pizza crust. It saves a TON. It costs about 60cents for a loaf of your own bread compared to the 2.49 I just paid yesterday! I need to go back to that myself!
Cleaning: Make your own supplies. We use vinegar and water for everything...glass cleaner is rubbing alcohol and water. You can even make your own laundry detergent and shampoo and soap.
Going out to Eat: I would keep going twice a month...you will feel deprived otherwise! Maybe just go to cheaper places like Chipotle or Panda Express...pretty good food but at fast food prices.
Here is a website from a homemaker I LOVE. Her site is amazing and I go to it at least a couple of times a week. Her blog is amazing too and she shows all of her recipes with pictures.
It's: The Family Homestead
