Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers...

I'm anemic right now, only hit me yesterday morning all of a sudden and is making it very difficult to do anything. I dont know if you've ever experienced it but it is a very scary feeling, like you are loosing blood, even laying down you feel faint and your limbs feel numb. The er doc told me I was a "little" anemic with my level being 8.8, however the doc I saw today was very concerned and told me that was more than just a little.. I had dh look it up and for a woman in general it should be between 11 and 16 so I dont know where I ought to be but considering how I feel its probably the latter of the two.
If you could pray for me to get some sleep that would be perfect, I have had a total of maybe 10 hours sleep since friday night, and right now it is so hard to fall asleep because with this anemia it feels like if I do I wont wake up, once I'm asleep I dont sleep hard or very well because of the anemia so even with my mom watching Seraphim all night last night I only slept a couple hours.

Seraphim is jaundice, I am taking her in the morning to get some tests done to see if it is mild or severe, so keep that in your prayers as well. We are pretty sure she just needs to be out in the sun a bit more as she wakes just fine and eats like crazy, unlike my nephew who had jaundice and we could never get him to wake up, we are thinking hers is probably mild but we will know tomorrow.

We are also having some trouble with insurance and having to pay for todays check up and the labs out of pocket (to be reimbursed but the ins. but who knows how long that will take) so if you could pray that God will just put his hand over our finances we would very much appreciate it.

Aside from those things we are enjoying time with this precious addition to our family.

Will update you ladies later, I'm gonna try and sleep now...

omg did you kept your placenta? I was going to suggest to make pills out of it! What about drinking RRLT? it has easily assimilated calcium and iron and will help you with any excessive bleeding you may have.

Probably you could qualify for medicaid? I am sorry you are going through this (((hugs))) You are in my thoughts...

8.8 is low, we often transfuse blood when it is that low (I work in adult acute care).
Get an iron supplement and/or eat meat (high iron diet), get lots of rest and HYDRATE. I hemorrhaged after my m/c and I know how awful that feels. No doubt the sleep deprivation and the breastfeeding compounds the feelings of depletion.
You are in my thoughts!
Rest up.

Just popping in from the Feb DDC to offer that my h&h levels were almost as low as yours are back in April. I took Vitanica Iron Extra every day and I started to feel better within a week. It's about $15 a bottle that will last you a month if you take 2 a day. I had my h&h rechecked in June and they were almost double what they had been in April. Hope that helps! (And hope you feel better soon!)

Just had my baby yesterday. I hemorraged. I got some liquid herbal supplement. It's helping already. Eat lots of iron. beans, bean burrito, steak, raisins. I know how it feels. I can barely walk to the bathroom. Usually I pass out on the toilet. I have had my sister or mom have to pull up my underware!

My sister (God bless her) has been wet nursing my little one because she is HUNGRY and I havent' produced fast enough. Thank God.
