Mary was born August 19 at 3:15 in the morning.
On August 18 I went in to the Mw to be reamed. Later that afternoon I was having regular contractions. Called the mw...and the whole team two doulas and the mw showed up at my house. They stayed until 7:00 then they started to peter out. So everyone decided to go home. I was terribly disappointed and embarrassed.
at 1:30 in the morning I was in pain. So I went to the bathroom and had a bm, thinking to myself that's all that it was. Nope I contined to hurt. I got in a hot shower. My dh got up to check on me and I told him I was getting in a warm bath. He decided to fill the pool. I got in the pool and my mom came in because she heard noise. The contractions started to get longer and harder and abut 3 or 4 minutes apart. I didn't want to call the mw because I was embarrassed that it might be "false" again.
Mw arrived at 2:15. My body started to push .....quickly I was taken out of the pool (the water was too cold to have the baby in) I don't know when the two doulas (mw in training came). I started pushing right away. At 3:15 Mary Gwendolyn arrived. She weighs 9 lbs 6oz and is 20 inches long.
She is beatiful. Born under the veil. Got a 10 on her apgar score. Nursed right away!! Hasn't stopped in fact.
I am doing ok. I tend to bleed alot and I have passed out a few times. I am really taking it easy. Got some herbal iron and am being treated like a queen.
I am going to try to put my thought together better to write out her birth story soon.
