I plan on having DS do the cyber school thing, wondering if they have any vax rules and regs? I'm already going to do the religious exemption thing as it is.

To the best of my knowledge, no. However, some states require vax info for all students, even those homeschooled or enrolled in a private school (online schools may be considered eiher a homeschool or a private school depending on the state.)

Not sure how cyber schools are classified , since they aren't really either home schools or private schools. Lucky for me I got a few years to procrastinate.

Some online schools are public too. They would have to accept the same exemptions as the public brick and mortar schools.

My oldest ds does the cyber school, and in OH they are (at least the one he attends) the same as any other public school. They did ask for vax records or an exemption form, which I had to fax to them with the rest of the registration materials.

I have my son doing a curriculum called switched on school house... its a software. I don't know how old your child is? But I am learning tons with him on a 4th grade level...
We both really really like it. It is just a software program that you put on the computer, no other links, no personal information.
Along with that, you are only required to test every other year, we plan on testing every year, but only turning in the results to the school district on the years that they are required. Just because I don't want any more confusion on homeschool law
We also use HSLDA for support of our right to homeschool. If you have any legal issues at all... they step in and take care of it, if not, I feel good knowing that what I am paying annually is going towards helping other families because I believe in it.
That could be something that you could look into
