Fetal breathing and onset of labor?

I seen someone post in a thread somewhere that fetal breathing stops 24-72 hrs before labor starts. I tried googling this to see more info on it and didn't find anything and I don't remember where I seen the thread...has anyone heard of this? Would this be the same as hiccups too?

Talks about fetal breathing reducing during labor but nothing about before labor.

This one:

suggests that the change is in the flow produced by the fetal breathing. Meaning there wouldn't be an affect on muscle spasms like hiccups. The abstract doesn't appear to be discussing breathing movements.

And I found one more study (closed the link already and am feeling lazy) where fetal breath movements meant that a pregnancy with premature contractions was more likely to continue than result in labor and delivery.

Anyway, even if there is reduced fetal breathing movements prior to all labors, it would only affect hiccups if they're caused by the diaphragm spasming during the breathing movements.
