labor with baby transverse- does this feel different?

My first baby was posterior, ending in unplanned C-section.

I'm due any day now, and I still feel that baby is moving around a ton. Limbs feel to be in totally different positions all day. Today she's felt transverse.

So my question is, when baby is posterior, you often have a clue if you have back labor, but is there an equivalent if baby is transverse (or if breech, for that matter too)? does it feel different to "normal" labor?

Do you have a caregiver? They should be able to tell you by palpating what position baby is in

My baby was tranverse-

and before labor had been breech mostly. I think she was trying to turn, but just hadn't made it all the way yet. I knew something wasn't quite right when I was dilated to a 4 and started feeling the contractions right on the spot where her bottom was, over to the left and a bit on the lower half of my belly. The pressure from the contractions stopped feeling like it was on my cervix- b/c it wasn't anymore
I was at the hospital and they got out the US machine and took a peek. Sure enough, she had turned transverse. So the Dr. stopped my labor with turbutaline, then did a manual version, where he turned her back vertex (head down). I know some people say this hurts badly, but really there was no pain, and it was done in about 10 seconds. Of course it was our seventh baby- but I am small- I am 5-4 and weighed about 140 when I gave birth. So, it all worked out for us, and we went on that night to have a beautiful waterbirth.

I didn't get the desire to push like you do with a typical labor even though I was fully dilated.
