positive nip/babywearing experience

my friend just had a baby via c-section and the hospital practically shares the parking lot with the mall. I had to kill some time while my friend was getting her room so I took my 2 LOs to the mall. We stopped for a snack at cinnabon. I was wearing DD#2 (1yo) in mei tai. Employee at cinnabon says, "can I ask you a question, (I nodded) where are you from?"
I say, "I'm American, why?"
He said, "Oh, in my country you see a lot of women carrying their babies in something like that, and in this country I usually see people carrying their babies in those things where their legs hang out" (Like a baby bjorn)
I said, "well this is actually Asian inspired and in Asia they typically wear their babies on their backs."
he said and laughed,"yes!! that's how they do it in my country"
I said, "I like to have her in the front though"
He said, "it makes it easier to..." and he pointed to his chest.
I said, "yes, it makes it easier to breastfeed... I'm breastfeeding right now."
He said, "really??? I can't tell at all. It's too bad more ladies don't do that here"
I agreed, said thank you and left with my cinnabon.

I couldn't get him to say the words "breast feeding" but he was supportive. I thought it was nice.

I didn't think to ask. I live in South FL, so it could have been any South American Country. Everybody speaks Spanish here.

That's so cool! Some people just aren't comfortable saying "breast feeding", but are completely supportive. (I'm like that, but it's getting a little better.) I am going to breastfeed as long as DC want (within reason, no going to HS graduation like that.)

probably wise. Those caps are sharp and you don't want them scraping your breast when they toss them in the air.
