Halloween costume

I know it's a bit early, but I have a costume in mind for DD and I that will probably take a while to put together. I'm thinking of dressing up as Willy Wonka with DD as an Oompa Loompa. What I'm stuck on is how I could do a green, oompa lumpa wig that will stay on her head. Any ideas on how to make one?

You could hand sew a headband(one of the plastic kinds) to the inside of a wig.Or a chin strap like sun hats have.

Hmm...

I forgot to mention her age (11 months by Halloween). Do you think that would work on a baby? I know nothing about wigs, like if they make child-sized ones!
