Smallest belly ever

post #1 of 11

Well, so many big belly posts, I just wanted to chime in with my tiny one to console any other small belly mamas. LOL.

My uterus had popped well out at 6 weeks, and has stayed consistently high when comparing to level of belly button type measurement - hit my rib cage early on etc etc

BUT:
22 weeks tape measure showed 24cm

25 weeks tape measure showed 26 at a streeetch.

26 weeks and I am actually hitting 29 cms.
Bit odd to have that jump in measurement, but still small for a multiple mama.

As a reference, in my singleton pregnancies I've measured consistently under by 4cms, so measuring dot on is big for me anyway

We need a PHOTO, please!

I also carried small. No one believed me that I was having twins. I saw singleton moms with bigger bellies then I had. I was just glad people could tell I was without a doubt, pregnant LOL.

I don't know what I'm measuring but nobody can believe I'm having twins either! I'm always being told that I look small.

:: !!!

FWIW, I always looked small, too, but far bigger than I did with my singleton (I barely looked 6 mos pg the week before she was born)--so I was at least thankful that people could recognize I was pregnant!

My thoughts exactly! Lots of mamas don't do the major belly pop until much later in pregnancy! You've still got lots of time to get HUGE!

your belly looks adorable! i think it's a function of how you carry -- i carry straight out in front. i looked like i was carrying twins during my singleton pregnancy. at 26 weeks i was 42 cm. it slowed down after that, though.

maybe you won't get stretch marks & twin skin, the lovely belly accessories i have.

Just wait mamma, the real growing is about to start !

I had several friends pg at the same time as me, and yes, they looked bigger than me... until I hit 30 weeks. . . then watch out for the belly!!
