I just saw that and was going to ask "What's the deal in Minnesota?" I was surprised by that (in a good way ).

I was also surprised that California was fairly low compared to some other states--I expected more of my fellow Californians

very interesting. i only looked at ga, less than 1%.......big threat we are :

.6% here in NY - I probably shouldn't be surprised since the schools don't even tell you it's an option. : In fact - I think they deliberately omit the fact.

3.0% across the border in VT.

Very interesting! I am kind of suprised that MI is as high as it is...3.6% total....mostly philosophical.

Makes me miss living in Colorado...

Huh. Ohio is pretty low--I'm actually surprised. I would have thought it'd be much higher than it is.
Interesting. We're at .9% and I bet I know all of them, lol.
Only 1% here. Not surprised. We're a freakin' backwater. Armpit of the midwest.
very interesting. I am curious what causes the variation. I wonder if it has to do with religious minorities, crunchies, or simply that some states aren't keeping track as well as others??

I too was surprised Cali was so low. BUT does this factor in homeschooling? Or is this simply the rates for public/private school kids that have exemption forms filed at school? I'll bet the numbers are a tad higher in some areas.

Ugh, Virginia is 1% overall. I expected better.
Wow... 3% higher than I expected.

Only in the states who require exemptions for homeschooling. Not all do.

This doesn't show how many in a state aren't vaccinating, just those who've claimed exemption for school/daycare/etc. I'm sure the non/selective vaxing rates are higher.
