Mother Nature is NOT playing fairly

I started my period on August 6th. Complete full period, heavy as always, cramping and bitchiness as always, six complete days of period yumminess as always.
Guess what? I started my period again yesterday.
Excuse me!!!!!: Since when did my uterus decide I need to bleed every other week????:
And no, it's not a miscarriage, haven't had sex in almost two years. I'm not in any pain other than normal back ache that I always get, so I can only assume I don't have an infection or a hole in my insides somewhere.
I called my midwife this morning and she said sometimes these things happen.

Is it just as heavy as a normal period again? It could be ovulation spotting, if it isn't. This is new to me too, as I started my period on August 11 and then got what appears to be a light period again yesterday. I have decided that it is ovulation spotting, as now it is gone and I do have a tendency to ovulate early in my cycle, like CD 11 or so.

It is slightly less heavy, meaning I am not leaking all over the place every time I move or stand up. It's most definitely not spotting, that's for sure. It's full on bleeding.

I also have a complaint to file with Mother Nature this month. I got my period yesterday, today is our 10th wedding anniversary. And both kids are spending the night at my mom's house for the first time ever.:

Seriously! I started mine over a week ago; it STOPPED for a day or so, and then REALLY got going again, for days more. I am DONE with this period, Mother Nature! Done, I tell you!

I had a huge hormone imbalance for about a year that did stuff like to that to me, after my #2 was born. I was not all all natural minded and blindly followed doctor's advice, so I went on the depo shot to fix it. It worked : Sure wish I had MDC back then!

I got mine back 6 weeks PP with my first DD while in the HOSPITAL waiting on my lifesaving gallbladder surgery... Yeah that sucked...

What sucks even more is that this time I'm pretty sure I just finished my first PP period at 3 weeks PP...

And as much as I would like to say it was nice for my wedding last year and held off until the next afternoon... it still had be worried as I thought I was pregnant and the test just didn't show... so I didn't get to relax and only sipped the alcohol "just in case"...

Day 1 bleed/cramp
Day 2-3 nothing
Day 4-8 bleed :

OK, you can all give some to me, cos my period has gone AWOL and I'm not pregnant. I want her to come cos it was my first AF post partum last month and I got my first mama cloth, but it didn't arrive until AFTER she'd gone so I didn't get to use it!
