Corbin was born vaginally and drug-free at 40+5 after AROM. I was 5 cm before and dilated to 10 cm after 2 hours of active labor. I pushed for 2 hours and he was born with a nuchal hand in the tub. I had 2 superficial labial tears that the midwife stitched with 1 stitch each. :

after 43 hours of labor at home we transfered to the hospital and had a c-section. I was able to nurse him within 30 minutes of delivery (I had to push for that!) He is beautiful

We had a great drug-free hospital VBAC. Water broke while I was in the car at 5:05pm then labor started and she was born 8 hours later!

We are having a wonderful babymoon, I couldn't be more in love.

My baby girl was born Thursday Nov 13 at 8:47am. She weighed 7lbs 15oz and was 19 3/4in. Labor was pretty much painless, (cant believe I'm saying that) but I definitely worked while pushing.


We came home from hsptl and moved into a new place that weekend, so things have been crazy for the last couple of weeks. We are doing well nursing is going well, trying to enjoy new baby and new home.

Happy, healthy homebirth-waterbirth in five very short hours. One of the midwives made it in time. The other two were about 5 minutes too late! DH describes the birth as "smooth", and I usually say "intense"

I'm a bit late posting this, but I haven't been in here since I was pregnant. Wow.

Henry James, born on 23 November at 8:32 a.m. He was 7lb7oz and 21 inches long.

Coolest thing: the doc told me to reach down and pull him out after his head was born.
