Zola Rose Jean

Was born November 3, 2008 3:03 PM at home in the water, it was a great birth. She weighed 7lbs 7 Oz and was 19. 5 inches long. She is doing well nursing well. Will post photos and birth story later.

Planned UC. Born after 7.5 hours from the time water broke to the time she came out at 8:20am. A few complications, but everyone is doing fine.

Samara Marie

Samara (Suh-marr-uh) Marie was born on 25 October at 36 weeks exactly. She weighed 6 lbs, 2 oz at birth and was 19 inches long. I had to be induced due to my pre-ecclampsia, but still had my mid-wife David attending (yes, a he) and had a drug-free birth. I haven't typed up her birth story yet.

Born after 31 hours of early labor and 4 hours of active labor. 12 minute pushing time. 5 hours on oxygen, 12 hours in the nursery, and now he's just fine! We are starting to get good latches, and he's starting to nurse! I'm pumping half of the milk he needs after a large breast reduction!
