Born by emergency c-section after 12 hours of perfect labor at home then we discovered he was in a bad position and would not descend. Arrived at the hospital continued pushing 10 hours...nothing...Dr and midwives tried vacuum so I could have him vaginally, but it failed.

He is here and such a joy!

Everything went perfectly. I've been up and around just fine, I have to remind myself to take it easy. She is nursing well, milk came in pretty quick, which I attribute to taking my nursing tea to the hospital with me and starting it right away.

Welcome Dylan Matteo

Dylan Matteo was born on Nov. 18 at 4:08 at home. 7 lbs. 1 oz., 19 inches long.

He and i had a rough start health wise, so it may be a few days before i return to the boards. i'll post the birth story then. can't wait to read everyone else's.

25 hours of labor, including 4+ hours of pushing against a cervical lip. Little Anya was born at home in the hallway! A bit of breathing difficulty at first, but she's doing great now.

Spontaneous, unmedicated labor and delivery at freestanding birth center. Pushed for 4 loooong hours, due to pubic arch issues, but once she got past it, things went quickly. One week later, I'm healing well and she is still absolutely gorgeous!
