so here the thing i relactated (if you call 4-5 oz a day relactating) and have been pumping for ds for 2.5 mos.. and he was very resistent to taking the breast at all but lately he will sometimes if he stands in front of me while im sitting.. and since we all know nursing is better for supply then pumping so i anytime hes willing or shows any interest i let him... well we were out to dinner the other night and he was pulling at my shirt so i was like well.. uh ok lol. so i got him all situated standing up with my boob out the top of my shirt and two women walked by and the one stopped and was like wow .. ive never seen anyone bf like that before.. i laughed and said its the only way he will nurse at all.. she shrugged and said breastmilk is best you gotta do what you gotta do... dont let anyone tell you any different. and actually no one else said anything at all the whole time lol i was impressed and thrilled.. esp since its obviously less then subtle

good to know its not just mine lol.

so of course after i post this we are out to lunch with some friends and he wants to nurse and some guy comes up and says if you have to do that here could you need to go where families arent eating ot atleast have a blanket you can cover up with so people dont have to see it. i just looked at him and said if your going to insist on speaking would you mind doing it in the bathroom b/c thats where people go to spew sh*t or at the very least shove this blanket in your mouth so the rest of us dont have to listen to your ignorance? the people at the booth behind us clapped! lol. he looked like he was about to say somemthing then thought better of it and walked away all discombobulated.

i know it wasnt the nicest thing but i was ticked off.. it wasnt even like a restaraunt employee just some guy... who does that? where does he get off asking people to move? i thought about saying someting to the manager but several people working there had walked by us before this guy came over and not said anything so i figured it wasnt worth it.

I'm not even nursing right now, but that is so awesome I want to write it down, in case I get pg again, in case I am NIP'ing and in case someone says something rude to me. So freakin' awesome. Good for you and yay for your cheering squad at the next table!!

Yay! So happy to hear you are still nursing and way to kick him in the balls! I always note that guys rarely say stuff like this when you have male partner around cause they don't expect you to fight back. Good for you!

<~~~ Ummm, yeah.. that's what just about happened with my extremely hot coffee that I had to hurry up and swallow (and almost choked on because I was laughing so hard) so that it wouldn't burn the heck out of my mouth LOL!!!! Quite the funny sight, I'm sure. Luckily, no one was in the room with me.

You know, that really may not have been the nicest thing you could have said, but I'll be d*amned if it wasn't the most perfect!!!
You're definitely my hero of the day!
