Need Non-toxic shampoo for DD

I'm trying to go all non-toxic, but am having a hard time finding a good shampoo for my 3yo daughter. Her hair is shoulder-length, blond, and very baby fine and thin.

All the shampoos I've used have left her hair weighed down and oily/dirty looking. Not all soft and fluffy like the toxic ones.

I've tried dr. bronners, california baby, natural bar soap from naturalneighborshop.com and burt's bees.

Can anyone recommend one that will work with her hair? (I'm needing one for my hair as well.)

Hi! Sounds like my daughter's hair. She is 3, too. I have the same problem and just I started washing it with a tiny bit of aubrey organics henna clean rinse (conditioner). It is very watery and so I lean her head back and put it at her hair line then work it down. We both LOVE it! I dont scrub to get it to lather (it wont later anyway) and so it takes less time. It is not tear-free, though, so do be careful. Her hair is shiny and bouncy now.

I loved Aubrey baby wash for my dd. She has fine hair, too. I call her "the girl with the floofy hair".

Another vote for Aubrey Organics! I've tried lots of different ($$$$) brands and Aubrey is the best. We use the Honeysuckle Rose shampoo for ds's fine, curly baby hair and it works great. I'm going to try their conditioner soon.
