I would love to connect with families in the Santa Cruz area who are planning to birth at home. My name is Linda Handley and I am a newly trained doula here in Santa Cruz. For the past four months, I have been attending births at hospitals. I absolutely love accompanying families through the journey of birth and I am committed to supporting women in their choices.
I know also that my true passion is homebirth and the empowerment that is nourished in an atmosphere of trust, belief, comfort, and support. My own son was born at home nearly six years ago and my heart is drawn to working with other women wanting to experience birth at home.
And so, I would be happy to volunteer my support, energy, touch, experience, and belief in the beauty and possibility of birth to families who are planning a homebirth and would like to have the continuous support of a doula -- simply in exchange for the experience of accompanying you in your journey.
