Sunday - Still Pregnant Daily Thread

Still here (41 wks, 2 days), but my water broke at 4ish. I'm wondering how much fluid means "it's definitely broken, this is not a false alarm, call your Mom and tell her to take the next plane from LAX" vs. the dribs and drabs (and apparently resealing) that some women experience.

I've had two definite (small) gushes though, so I think this may be it. Could be the ridiculous 4 mile walk that included at least a couple hundred stairs yesterday. Oy. I am sore. My calves totally hate me right now, though I suspect that may soon be the last thing on my mind.

Rub some arnica on those calves if you've got it. You are right though, you probably won't be thinking of them in a little bit! Keep us posted!


As for me, I want to start trying to get this baby out, but I want to get thru court on tues. first. My oldest son's dad did a number on me last night. He had me drive an hour to his house with no intention of letting me pick up our son. So I got to make a two hour drive for nothing. That's a mean thing to do to a very pregnant woman. And I have to do it again tomorrow to actually pick him up.

I asked over in blended families if it would be okay to call him, tell him I'm in labor and that he's got to bring him down. What can he say? That I'm not in labor? It's a long story, so I'll spare the details but believe me, I really want to go to court now. So I am now in a holding pattern so to speak.

Bleh. It's 5 in the morning here, I'm going back to bed. good luck mama's!

Feeling very crampy over night and all morning. I had a few irregular contrx during the night that definitely felt way lower than any up until now. No mucus plug or anything - just a little more clear discharge. If anything, maybe this means I am finally dilating some.

After walking a few miles yesterday the net result is that Aka_chan settled *higher*. This child is all too comfy in there.

ETA: The magic 8-ball I found online says I'll have the baby before Tuesday.

40w +12 days... I don't really know how much longer I can wait before I make my DH take me to the hospital for an induction.

Feeling the exact same way. 39wk 1day. Feeling MUCH lower than usual. Same with the discharge. Weird how everone has to go through the process....but the process is SO VERY DIFFERENT for everyone!

Still pregnant!

Had my first really uncomfortable night last night. I tossed and turned like mad, and couldn't find a spot that didn't have me feeling awful. The baby was pushing on my hips which felt really strange, maybe he's dropped into place?

I am declaring today Freedom Day and am going out and doing things for myself: shopping, coffee, etc., because it might be the last time for a long while that I can do it (not like I'm having any labour signs or anything!)

Still pregnant!

I'm doing a little cleaning this weekend. If I make it to next weekend still pregnant, I am going to do one last cleaning and one last trip to the grocery. If we can, we'll go out for a nice dinner together one night this week.

Hang in there, dd2 was 12 days late but she compensated by giving me only 3 hours of labor. Its really really rough I know.


I am 40w4d today and no sign of baby yet. sigh.

At least we all get virgo babies, right? The rest of the August mamas have crazy demanding leos to deal with. (I know all about that, dd1 is a leo)

40w tomorrow, but that is based on LMP and really I think Wednesday is a better estimate based on ovulation. I am definitely trying acupuncture this week since my dh is now on 3 weeks of vacation and I really want to have at least a couple weeks of help before he goes back to night shift!
I never imagined I could go over my EDD! Good thing my best friend wasn't able to come because she might have missed it!

We are going to the beach today, maybe a little relaxation is really want I need.
Still lots of BH and zingers in my cervix, but just creamy discharge and a super high cervix.

41 weeks today. I'm feeling a little crazy.

Last night I dreamed that I was jogging topless and everyone was staring at me. Then I had to go into this tunnel. There were all these people in it in front of me and be hind me. I had to move head first through this very narrow space but I was freaking out cuz I knew that my pregnant belly would not fit through the narrow opening. Plus all the people behind me were pushing me to go and the people in front weren't letting me thorough. I felt so claustrophobic. I woke up at this point gasping for air. It was awful.

Please baby, come today. My dd was born on the 41 week mark, so here's hoping.

Well I did it... I just chugged my first 2 tablespoons of castor oil. Here is to hoping that its not all in vain.

still here. today is my due date but we all know what that means.
just tired of being pregnant. i would like to meet this little person. i am glad to have a healthy full term pregnancy but I am not the most patient person....

Late check in..but still a check in! 39w2d. Yesterday and today I've been losing my mucous plug. Last night was not comfortable, irregular ctx woke me up. I've been having irregular, but stop and breathe through them ctx. To the OP, I know all about the "call your mom and tell her to leave LAX," except that I'm in Massachusetts so the timing is so hard to travel to the East...I guess it's not time to be picky, I told her I'd love for her to come now, even though she's supposed to come on Friday.

Today is my due date. I don't know if it will turn into real labor but I've had the menstral type ctx on/off all day with pink mucous discharge. They're about 10 mins apart. If it's not going to progress tonight then at least I know I'm thinning and possibly dilating
