Things to do in the Victoria rain

Victoria moms, help... I have a 1 year old, not yet walking but power-crawling, who is extremely energetic. Today's rain has kiboshed our plans to go to the beach... what else is there to do for free or super-cheap in Victoria when it rains? With a non-walker?

Go to the pool - Esquimalt, Oak Bay, Commonwealth, Crystal are all fun.

Go to the library.

Go to a playgroup at a rec centre or a neighbourhood house.

Go people-watching at a mall.

...at that age, mine enjoyed long stroller walks in the rain - I recommend investing in a really good rainjacket for yourself!
