MA vaccine exemption laws and daycare

Hi Everyone,
I am not going to be vaccinating my son and am worried that the childcare center we like will turn us away. Is it true that all I need to do is write and sign a letter stating "religious beliefs" and they need to take me? I believe it is a private daycare center as parents pay tuition, but it is also in a IRS building and I think they may receive some aid from the government. Can anyone offer isight into this or does anyone live in MA and know the laws? This issue has been stressful fo rmy family so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so very much.

If the center accepts any state/federal funding they must accept exemptions.

Here are the laws and exemption info for your state.

Thanks so much! Is it true that if they do not receive any aid then they can turn us away?

I just went through this myself in MA. I just submitted the form with the application and fingers crossed and it was fine.

To answer you last question, yes, they could turn you away, but I have yet to hear of that happening in MA. I hear it happening in NY, and NJ much more.

Private schools and daycares who don't accept any state/federal funding can refuse exemptions.
