No VAX friendly ped in W-S area???

Hi, we just got kicked out of current practice for refusing the 2-month shots. We will not be able to vaccinate at all. Does anyone know of a provider in Winston-Salem or the surrounding area who would respect this decision? I don't want every visit to be lecture session. Thank you so much!

My family goes to Dr. Lantelme at Aegis Pine-Ridge. We LOVE him. Yes, he did say a few things to us in support of vaccines, but he was fine with our decision and dropped it at that. Never made us feel unintelligent or "stupid" for our decision. He is also very good at recommending vitamin and/or herbal supplements even if he has to prescribe an antibiotic. He is a family practice physician, and also does obstetrics so we are all able to see him - I highly recommend him!

At TriadMommies.com's Natural Living/ Attachment Parenting forum, there is a sticky addressing this very subject - several doctors are mentioned in the thread. Dr. Lantelme does not come up in that thread as I recall, but I too have heard he's wonderful from a separate source.

I just wanted to say that Dr Lantelme is my doctor, and he is a great dr. I dont know about no vax, though, since we choose to vax. As my maternity doctor he's been wonderful, too. He delivered 2 of my children, and he was more like a midwife than a doctor.
