TN's exemption laws with a selective vax?

I'm currently looking into places to move on the East Coast to be closer to family...
checking out Nashville, but a little worried about TN's vax law. My ds has had the tentanus/diptheria vax only and we do not want to do the others. Will I not be allowed to claim the exemption since I chose to do only one? It appears TN only offers a medical or religious exemption? not the "moral or philosophical" option WA offers...
These laws are so frustrating!
Anyone have experience with TN vax laws?

Not familiar with the law....but, how will TN know that your kids received the vaccinations in another state? Many states do not have their databases linked. It looks like you just submit a letter stating your religious objection (http://www.vaclib.org/exempt/tennessee.htm). It is usually a one-liner stating your religious objection to vaccinations. Call the health dept in TN and inquire, they may have a form. If they do, I don't believe that you have to give your religious affiliation. Does WA have a database for vaccinations? Check to see if you can opt out of having your children tracked, just in case their database is linked. You may want to do this in TN as well. You can opt out of the database in FL, but not in my current state.

My older 2 have partial shots and I just had the doctor sign the form. It has a place for religous expemtion. We wrote in philosophical and he signed it. My understanding was TN did have philosophical exemption. There is a form you fill out your self also. I turn it into the school and havn't has a problem yet.

edit: just saw that TN doesn't have philosophical exemption. It may have been something that changed in the last years. I stopped with my 3rd one in 2006. Here is a site with some good info and forms.. http://www.vaclib.org/exempt/tennessee.htm

#1) Your religious views can change at any time
#2) You get exemption forms from the health department, and what your doctor knows about your (or your kid's) medical history is private

Tennessee law is not specific about the religious exemption. They also have a form that you just sign. From the looks of it, I wouldn't worry about it. But I don't have personal experience with Tennessee.
