Right now I'm working on...
  • Hoot hider
  • Burp cloths
  • Pouch sling for dd
  • Pillow case for dd
  • Two small pillow cases for dd
  • Duvet cover for dd
  • Mama pads(maybe)
  • Nursing Pads
  • Changing pad
  • Knitted blanket for ds
  • Knitted hat for ds
  • Knitted hat and scarf for dd
  • Halloween costume for dd
  • Mei Tai with boy print fabric
  • Ring Sling(possibly, if I have time)

Okay...that is all for now, lol! I really need to get cracking or I'm never going to get it all done!

I'm planning on finishing DD's scrapbooks so that I can perhaps keep up with two children's memories. If I do finish with time to spare, I will unearth my photos from pre-children years and put together some albums from those too. Hopefully the pictures haven't melted in my garage in the last 5 years, since the boxes were placed there on the day DD was born!

What I've done so far is:

Diaper stash for baby, nb & sm
Bigger dipes for ds since I won't have time when he really needs them I'm predicting, anyway!
Boppy cover
Car seat cover (the blanket type that goes over baby to keep her warm)
Winter pj's for ds since I for sure won't have time when he needs them
Soft shoes for baby
Some clothes & hats for her (pants, sleeper gown, tops, etc)
Family cloth, more wipes for ds & new baby

Working on:
Crocheting her blanket
Gotta knit her a hat
Gotta knit ds a hat
Another boppy cover
Dress to come home in
Christmas dress
More small fitteds
Gotta start her med stash
Changing table cover
Nursing pads
PP mama cloth

I'm sure I'm leaving things out of both lists. Add to that I've got another baby to sew for, Christmas gifts.. oy. I really need to get moving!

I never even got around to starting a scrapbook for dd. I always wanted to but just ran out of time. Maybe one day

I really wish I could make CD's I just am afraid to...lol! You sound like you have lots to do too! It is so nice having something to occupy my time :-D

I'm not the craftiest, but here are a few things:

Origami Crane Mobile
- First Attempt
Origami Crane Mobile - Close-up

Simple Panels for Stripey Curtains

I've been sanding the frame of an old round mirror that DH and I will repaint or stain to match the dresser in the nursery - the mirror is a perfect fit for the narrow space between the windows. I'll help DH build a bookcase for the nursery, too. I may try my hand at knitting or crocheting something in September after I leave work, not sure though.

I'm also going to make another origami crane mobile with green and yellow cranes. Calla's room was getting a bit too pink.

~a pair of longies
~a few crocheted hats
~a minkee-lined blanket
~baby tie-dye
~a pumpkin hat & reversible pants (the shirt was thrifted)
~birth bead necklace

What I hope to finish in the next couple of weeks:
~get her scrapbook started
~sew a few gowns

Happy crafting, mamas!

They aren't hard at all, I promise! I'm not all that crafty, all it takes it practice My first dipes weren't the prettiest, but weren't fugly either, and were completely usable! Just jump right in!

okay, I better get on this...there isn't much time left.

I have:

elastic to repair in some of DS diapers.
a minkee blanket to make for the new baby.
flannel blankets to serge.

All I can do is sew. I'm not any good at knitting but I'd love to have some wool longies.

So far,

a mason-dixon moderne baby blanket. But huge... I'm using worsted weight yarn doubled. It looks really good though. I'm expecting it to be used for years. I'm using the Vanna's Choice yarn for washablity.

a baby surprise jacket in a wool/acrylic blend. I also want to make one to match the blanket.

I have 1 nb soaker started that needs finished. I think I FINALLY have the pattern down to a NB size. Its knitted out of alpaca natural yarn.

Finishing up my diapers

Making new curtains for the downstairs (9 big windows!! Yikes!!)

Well, I was working on the baby scrapbook and some diapers/covers before I was put on bed rest, so now I'm not really sure what I can do. I need a flat surface for scrapbooking, so I can't do it from bed, and other than cutting and piecing together diapers, I can't do much from bed in the way of sewing.

If only I enjoyed knitting and crocheting more! That's a perfect activity for in bed.

I'm knitting a wool blanket that I plan on having my 2 and 3 yr olds help my dye with cool-aid powder. (It's the only thing I use cool-aid for. )
I've got a crocheted sweater in process, and a bunch of cd's that are newborn size that my 2nd born, huge boy that he was, grew out of before he could really wear them.

I haven't gotten *any* crafty stuff yet... so does organzing my house top to bottom count for now lol! But really that has been my priority.

I have however, been collecting materials to make quite a few pairs of split-crotch pants for the bub, and I have all the materials (and found a Great tutorial online) for making "babylegs" leg warmers for him.

I've thought about making some absorbant blankets to go up under us in the bed but I'm undecided on that.

Other than that all my crafting projects are homeschool things for the big kids But I'm looking forward to getting the pants and leg warmers made in a couple of weeks

Things I've finished:

3 pairs of longies
3 wool soakers
3 pairs of booties
4 sweaters
-mossy sweater
-baby yoda sweater
-baby sachiko kimono
-hooded baby sweater

3 hats
-cabled baby hat
-top down anime bonnet
-Kim's hat for Last Minute Knitted Gifts

Pics here on my flickr account:

Things I'm working on/still planning:

2 more wool soakers
2 more pairs of longies
yoda hat (to match yoda sweater already made for Halloween)
Trellis sweater in a bigger size, 12 months, I think
a few more pairs of booties

Not baby related but I have to knit DS's fall sweater and winter hat. Each kid gets at least one of each each year. He's getting a Robin Hood jacket and a dinosaur hat, both in green. DD's are already finished. She got a purple Placket Neck Pullover and a pink and purple Kim's hat.

I forgot! I also tie dyed a bunch of snap front shirts and onesies for the babe. All were stained hand me downs and they look pretty cool. I should take pictures. I knit a pinwheel blanket for him, too. I've been a little obsessed with baby crafts.

That crane mobile is really cool! Your baby's room is adorable.

~get her scrapbook started
~sew a few gowns
~finish my birth bead necklace

Happy crafting, mamas!
Love the quilt! I wish I enjoyed sewing more but it always seems like such a chore that I don't do it often.

I have got to find out where you got the pattern for the take me home outfit!! Would you mind sharing? It is gorgeous!!

What pinwheel blanket did you make? I saw one the other day, that I thought I might try my hand at too. I too am obsessed about baby crafts, but good thing money hinders that a bit or I would have gone waaay over board by now

Diapers, wipes, clothes, quilt, soakers, tie dying...here are a few pics of things I've made
Knitted earflap hat and booties
Fitted diaper
RRP diaper
skully shoes-they aren't as wonky as they look!

So far I've done several diapers, wipes, a couple hats and booties/shoes, tie dyed onesies, most of the quilt, and a soaker.
