Overdue mama's . . . let's do a little visualization

I've been visualizing labor and birth and trying to meditatively focus on it a lot the past few days. I asked my husband to join in last night but still nothing. Maybe all of us overdue mama's can cultivate some major labor and delivery energies for one another.

There's a good thread over in Birth and Beyond about labors that started with none of the usual "readiness" signs. "you can be closed and tight and baby tonight" as it were.

I had an u/s and NST this mornign too. Everthing is fine and baby is fine, but I want to have this kid this week. I am now 1 week overdue. This is eating into my maternity leave. If I give birth this week, I will only have 4 weeks with my little one unless I take more time off.

I used my pump for a little while this afternoon, but i didn't have any contrax. I also took some castor oil. Hopefully something will work.

My OB gently reminded today me that I'm not overdue until two weeks from Friday. It was good to hear (and I needed to hear it). I really wish they'd just give 42-weeks as your EDD.

i too have been trying to visualize.... i hope it works soon because i can hardly sit in an upright position and i am still working! i keep hoping this baby will come so i can have a day off!
