PA OT recommendation

would anyone be willing to recommend a fantastic OT?
i'm looking for someone highly skilled in working with children with SID/SPD...
we live in the philly burbs...near lansdale/montgomeryville if that helps.
willing to travel up to 20 miles or so, which would put us into philly a bit (chestnut hill/mt airy), or quakertown, doylestown, glenside, flourtown, warrington, blue bell, plymouth meeting, norristown, etc...

There are some great OTs at Theraplay in Horsham. They take all insurances and also have a reasonable private pay voucher system. 215-293-8882

I have no personal experience with Theraplay, but I know people who have had a good experience there.

Totaly Sensational in Plymouth meeting is great. We took our son there and loved it.

Been using Totaly Sense-sational and been happy with them. Just found out though that our insurance company is covering pretty much nothing since they are out of network. Can anyone share her experiences with SPD therapies at Theraplay? Do they do Tomatis? Other auditory processing therapy? Switching will save us a second mortgage at this point.

Our son went to Theraplay for 2 years. They did not do Tomatis. Their OTs are not Sensory Trained.

Have you tried any of the hospitals? I know that CHOP in Doylestown has one woman who is SI trained. I'll try to find her name and send it to you.

Maybe a bit far, but this was posted a while back on the giftedhspa yahoo group: "A Total Approach in Aston Pa specializes in these types of issues (SPD). Their number is 484-840-1529." The poster added they have a well deserved good reputation.
