The Exchange with Laura Knoy did a show with/about midwives on Monday...

Pretty nice show. Nobody called to criticize or anything...

One interesting highlight was a mom who thought she couldn't have an HBAC in NH, but a panelist explained, I believe, that she could!

The show was partly meant to promote one midwife's new book,
Lady's Hands, Lion's Heart.

I read it when I was pregnant with DD2. Carol was my mw and she lent it out pre publication. I can't wait to buy my own copy and read it again its been almost 8 years. :

There isn't much info on Amazon yet- I'd bet they'd love another review with more information about the book

That reminds me to pick up my copy of Carol's book tomorrow when I have my prenatal with my midiwfe. She has a whole stack of them at her birthing center that Carol dropped off to sell.
