i need to get a job, so i am preparing by pumping a freexzer stash for DD2 who is 11 month old (1 on 17th september)

so far i can get between 1-2 oz out at a time (pumping one side while DD2 is on other side and some times a bit more when she is done.

so far i have 7 about 8oz from 3 days work (thats 5 pumping sessions ish)

i am taking fenugreek and upping water intake.

im feeling like there is no point becuas ei wont be able to give DD2 enought for 4/5days a week if it takes me 3 days to get 8oz.

i have no idea when i will get a job if ever and i have no idea if she will be in daycare center or in home day care im leaning towards daycare center as they will be more likely to adhear to the NO DAIRY but if i have to work weekends i will need a in home day care provider as DH works alternate saturdays.

i dunno what i should be aiming for output wise for DD2.
if i do get a job and cant get her enought milk while i am at work (could be between 4-9 hour shift each day 5 days a week) what else could/should she have. i dont wanna do formula, shoul di jsut give what i can and have them give water and solids the rest of the day.

i also have to work on getting her to sleep with out nursing to sleep but dunno how to do that one.

thanks

i can't speak to the rest of your post since DD gets cow milk while at daycare, but about this line i can say from experience--you don't need to change a thing about how you put her to sleep. she will learn quickly that it's one way with you, another way with the DCP. she can go to sleep without nursing, but she's gonna raise heck if you try to make her!

If your little one is eating solids and drinking water, I think it is fine for her to have those while at child care and just nurse when with you. Will she even drink your milk from a bottle? Neither of my children would drink milk in a bottle at that age, they seemed to just think it was too weird. Assuming you can nurse when you drop off and when you pick up, and she eats solids, I would think she'd be fine.

I agree with the pp that your child will learn to go to sleep a different way for a childcare provider than she does with you, no need to stop nursing to sleep. If you want her to practice going to sleep without you (and nursing) you can leave dp in charge at nap time on the weekends a few times while you run errands.

Good luck in your job hunt, and the transition.

she will take it in a sippy cup. she still nurses a lot so i dont want take it away all together.

i still want to pump for her in case but if i do and she doesnt take it at nursery thats ok but id rather pump and not need it than nbot pump and find out she screamed for ages

hap[y happpy joy now tho. i decided to pump the left in stead of the right and got a whopping 4oz
4oz thats over double what i get from right side!!
i do feed more off left tho i dont like nursing on right its uncomfortible so maybe thats it.
