ACK! 4 days to turn my son into a green pea! Help!

So my 1st grader comes home today with a note saying they are having a special parade on Friday to commemorate one of their summer reading books, Lunch. They each have to dress up as one of the foods from the book, and my son chose green pea (this is a pea-pod type pea, not just a one round pea). I have limited resources to accomplish this, and I am fresh out of ideas. I wish I had had the weekend to deal with this! Help!

Does he have any green clothes? Just a green shirt will do if you can't get him green pants too.

His body is the pod. You need to attach peas to him somehow. Easiest is probably 3-4 green balloons that you tape to his green shirt.
