not a thing. I forgot how annoying this can be.

I feel the same way sometimes. I just wait until Kendall goes to sleep and hurry to do as much as I can. One step at a time....

dd2 won't let me put her down to sleep. ds won't be quiet enough to let her sleep long either.

My terror, AKA Mason the 2 1/2 yr old, just came home from grandmas and he is so easily upset these days that nothing gets done. He whines, screams and crys over what seems to me to be nothing. I don't have the energy to deal with him and accomplish something else.

This too shall pass....right! We will feel more like ourselves and the kids with adjust, it just takes a while.

I know I know....

Years from now you won't remember what you can not get done like the laundry or dusting but you will remember holding your little one.

(sound like an annoying Hallmark card don't I?)

It will get done, just at a slower pace.

I know how this feels! My living room is so trashed I can't walk through it w/o stepping on something. I need to go change wet sheets from last night (thanks ds) and fold 3 baskets of laundry. If I could ever uncover the floor, it really needs vacuuming. However Anna has different ideas about where she should sleep, preferably with mom at all times, lol. It is only 9am and I could use a nap, but I don't think my other 2 at home would like that, lol.

I hear ya! I had a melt down this morning because I couldn't get the boys to school on time.

Isn't that the truth? My mom has been coming over almost everyday to help me catch up on house work and make meals for us. What a sweetie!!

maybe try a wrap? my babe is easy and i can put him down when he's fast asleep, but ds1 (who will be 4 in november) will not leave him alone. he thinks he has to be up in the baby's face, stacking his blankets and toys on top of him, jumping up and down around him, etc. so i have been using the wrap everyday so that i can at least get a few things done. it's a pita because i don't have much experience with a wrap and the experience i do have is with an older child, not a newborn....but at least i can get a few things done and maintain some semblance of sanity!!! i wish i had had a wrap when ds1 was a newborn! he wouldn't let me put him down for anything!

My mom lives 2500 miles away but is coming in 2 weeks. Of course I feel the need to clean up in a serious way before she comes. A friend is going to come over and help me.

I do have several carriers but at this point she spits up a lot if carried vertically so I can use the pouch some but that doesn't help with nursing. I am way too big to nurse in a sling (J to K cup depending on how full I am at the moment).

I should try to use my pouch more if she is sleeping though.

Totally how I'm feeling now. With Kendall having colic and screaming every 5 minutes, I can't get ish done!
