We are moving to Pictou/New Glasgow NOVA SCOTIA area!!!

Hello.
we are moving back to my home land of Nova Scotia!!
So excited BUT we are not moving to where I grew up( Datmouth)
I want to know if there are any mom's on here that live in Pictou/New Glasgow area that could help me on some info of the area.
nice area to live?
School? French Imersion ?

I don't live there but my inlaws do. They live outside of town and no school aged kids so I'm thinking they probably don't have a lot of input on schooling etc.

However, it seems to me there is a LLL in either Pictou or New Glasgow, that might be a way to meet people, at least once you're in town...

If you don't have luck here, you might try the boards at canadianparents.com (am I allowed to say that on here?) They seem to have a good size membership so there might be some Pictou County folk on there.

I've been on CPO for a few years and there isn't anyone on the NS board from that area ATM.
