And tons of menstrual cramp feelings all day. : for me.

Actually, were this a period, I'd call it "medium flow".

If this is it, I'm starting a petition against this sort of contraction.

Low grade cramping all day, and now I'm getting occasional rounds of more intense cramping. It's like how the heck was I supposed to tell that something was happening??

Anyway, got birthing stuff all set up, dh is off for snack stuff, first round of pretzels is shaped and rising.

FYI, baking pretzels is not a good labor activity. Kneading rocked, but then contractions kept coming right as I hit time sensitive parts of the baking process.

Baby #2, I'm making tons of pretzels to distract from waiting for labor to start and my labor activity will be eating the pretzels.

(The pretzels were delicious mind you.)

Counterpressure + birthball = above times 1000000

Tons and tons of mucous (seriously, how do women who lose the plug in one go not get completely coated in goop?).

Aka_chan's still waaaay high up and putting no pressure on my cervix. Very annoying.

As a bonus, my feet aren't poofy, and my pelvic bones (touch wood) are less achy.

I'm so excited for you!!! Hope things kick up a notch soon!

Not in your ddc, but just popping in to say that for back labor a hot rice sock on your lower back is your friend!

I've had so much counterpressure done today that I'm feeling phantom hands on my hips.

Second the hot rice bag/sock (ETA: not cooked rice). Put it in the microwave until hot (roughly 1:30-2:00) and put on back...and go aaahhhh...

Best wishes for a sweet baby in arms soon!
