I went to a mommy/baby playgroup today and felt a little out of place. Not that my ds and I look any different, but I could tell that I have different parenting styles than some of the more mainstream mamas. I was probably the only one with a homebirth, cloth diapers, I didn't feel the need to cover up when nursing and I didn't carry my ds in a car seat. Not that I can't be friends with these mamas, and I hope we DO become friends, but it's also nice to surround yourself with like-minded parents. It's kinda comforting, ya know? Soooooo, any AP stylin moms in the Chico area who'd like to go for a walk in Bidwell, or some such thing?
