yeah, this makes some sense to me. there were times i actually feared shaken baby syndrome just from bouncing DD particularly vigorously (not out of anger, just because she needed it to sleep ). and there were other times i was frustrated and a bit rough (nothing serious). but if for some horrible reason she had died and i'd been questioned, i could see myself "putting 2 and 2 together" and seeing my actions as the cause. rightly or wrongly, yes, i could see this happening to someone.
