I have done some googling on this and it appears to not have the milk proteins in sodium lactate, but I wanted to check with you on MDC to find out for sure as you all tend to be more knowledgeable. So is sodium lactate okay to eat? I'm going down to just about nothing in my diet (I think my EBF DD is reacting to tomatoes as well as dairy, but would rather just work in new foods than play hide and seek trying to figure out what exactly I ate that caused the reaction) and the packaged deli turkey I love has sodium lactate in it.
So is this okay for a known milk allergic/intolerant baby? TIA!

: I would say most all processed meats are a no-no on a df diet. Actually, it's a good idea to avoid ALL processed/packaged foods, at least for a while, until you get really comfortable on the df diet (I don't know if you're there yet... so ignore me if you are.
)
I meant the Hormel luncheon meats.
