I am wondering who has birthed with or heard about the midwife group here in Des Moines. I will be having a natural, unmedicated hopsital birth also with a doula. Would have liked to have a water birth but am not sure if the midwife group does this? Does anyone know how supportive this group is to non medicated, non intervention births? And if they do water births? Please post positive comments about this group...not negative ones because honstely they are now our only option for a midwife hospital birth. It saddens me that a more medical type group is my only option. I hate having to go to a group! We had a midwife hopsital non medicated delievery in the QCA and it was wonderful! We are not interested in homebirth...and the lovely hospital midwfe we planned on using is most likely not available.
