Nursing different with Teeth

My 1 yo has a bunch of teeth now,a nd I think its changed her latch because Im getting some pretty bad sores on both nipples. Ive tried changing positions, but then I get sores there as well. I never had this problem with my first chid, and nursed him in to the second year. It seems she's not pulling the nipple far enough back, and so she's nibbling and tugging a bit more. At this point Im going to have to wean because Im worried about infection, and its excruciating. Unless, someone has an idea of how I can reteach good latch-on to a well established nurser. Help!

I had a similar problem. GO to a LLL meeting or talk to a LC if you know one. It's very common for a child to change his/her latch, and specifically develop a shallow latch, when teething.
