Seems as if right now we're in that second stage.

I saw this quote today and thought it was perfect.

I have been feeling a bit tarred and feathered by the media and their ilk lately. Someone here mentioned pitchforks and burning at the stake. And for many people who don't understand why any of us would non/ selective/delayed vax, I think they would if they could. I read the words " I hate you non-vaxxing parents" the other day. Wow! Hate? Seriously? It just seems so blown out proportion.....:

Remember 100+ years ago when a doctor said washing hands before helping a woman deliver a baby would reduce mortality? They began doing it, saw it worked, and STILL ridiculed him and stopped doing it. Fatalities in mothers rose again..... Now we know one of the single biggest things you can do for your health is WASH YOUR DAGGONE HANDS!!! LOL!!

So heads up all... if ol' Arthur is right, then the third and final stage will feel nice. Never has there been a cause or belief worth fighting for that didn't involve some battles.

Thanks for posting this. One of the long-time members here used to (maybe still does) have this as their siggy and I've never forgotten it. I do believe our great grandchildren will look back on the practice of vaccination as we look back on, say, bloodletting.

Thanks, I totally see it as I have been reading the articles recently. I also get sucked into the comment sections sometimes (in general, not talking about any particular one) and the comments are so hateful and ignorant. It's really too bad these 'articles' get passed off as true non-biased articles instead of the editorials that they really are. So many people take their word for it w/o doing their own research, then spew off the ignorant comments.

This is just what I needed tonight. I haven't been visiting the vax board much because the articles and stories were making me so upset and physically sick. I too get sucked into the hateful comments people leave and it's very emotionally draining.

I think we are in the second phase and hopefully soon we will be in the third and I can finally live my life without the secrecy and anger inside I feel towards our government.
