My MOM got free formula in the mail!

I breastfed all 3 of my kids from birth until about 2 years old. I supplemented with formula once with my youngest (actually, I don't think my aunt needed it as I had enough ebm, now that I think about it), probably none with my 2nd and a few weeks with my first while we struggled with latching issues. So, I'm pretty pro-bf! I did get "free samples" from the hospital with all 3 and even with #2 some packages arrived of free formula, too. So now guess what arrived today? My kids are 7, 9 and 11 almost - a package of formula!! And MY name wasn't on it, but my MOM'S! She's 61! Sheesh.... I realize its probably because she bought baby things for my cousin's new baby online, but that's not the point. Ugh! What a waste of money!

That is absolutely unbelievable! I think my brother got samples mailed to him when he graduated high school. How does that work?! Seriously!

ROFL! Man, are they pushy enough?? Still, mailing formula to a 61 year old and a guy cracks me up. Those companies are idiots

Crazy, huh? I'm almost 10wks and I've ALREADY gotten coupons/sample cans in the mail about 2 weeks ago!! I give them to my bff's aunt who runs a shelter for abused women and children though, I mean if a mama's already ff'ing and in a situation like that where they need to leave asap it's useful.

Please bring them to your local Department of Children and Families to donate to foster babies in your area. Many women in shelters get WIC already. Babies in care are often placed with no notice and takes a while to get them on WIC. In our local DCF we create care packages to new foster families and often include coupons and formula.
