I'm so happy to be a part of this DDC.
This little bean will be our third child. My daughter was born in 2005, and William was born last February, but he was diagnosed with trisomy 13 soon after birth and passed away when he was 17 days old. It's been a difficult, beautiful and strengthening year for us and we knew immediately that we would have more children.
I'm a working mother. I work Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri so I never have to have Maddie in daycare more than two days in a row. I'm a conservation scientist and I study the organic chemistry of fine art and museum objects. It rocks!
I love to sew and right now I'm just starting on a new maternity wardrobe! So far I have a jean skirt and I'm almost finish a pair of jeans.
Today is my wedding anniversary: 13 years! And I just received a painting I commissioned of me holding William. It is a wonderful day!
