My DS came home from the doctor's, and woke up from his naps with a runny nose. (Argh! It wasn't even his appointment - it was baby's well visit, no shots involved.) I was thinking of how many times people come home from after getting shots, and then the baby runs a fever or something... The doctor's are quick to dismiss it entirely, many of us here are quick to assume it's a vaccine reaction. But how could one tell the difference between a vaccine reaction and a bug picked up at the dr's office?

I'm not trying to diminish anyone's bad vax experience, rather just acknowledging that the science here is messy!
