So, this is about me.
I have always had severe seasonal allergies. When I moved to Missouri 10 years ago, they only became worse. Especially as fall started up because of the ragweed. I was pregnant last fall, and still suffered horribly. It is always miserable.
So, this year, I am just going on as normal, but man, everyone around me has been sneezing, puffy eyed, blowing their noses. "Ragweed" my SIL said. Ragweed??? Later, I see the news. Yes, it is true, the ragweed count is high.
But I am not reacting.
DH thinks it is because I am off dairy. My mom thinks so too. I've been having problems with dairy for about the last 10 years. But then I saw that poll about allergies and pregnancy. Did my pregnancy change it? I did have problems with ragweed while I was pregnant, but does that make a difference?
When I was a kid, my allergist wanted to get me on a elimination diet really bad, but I was too addicted to sugar and carbs, I snuck it every chance I got, so they gave up. I just wonder how much my past plays into the present, as far as my allergies, ds's allergies, seasonal allergies, and that virgin chicken sacraficed on the front lawn. It just all seems connected.
