I think DD broke out in hives yesterday. Its hard to tell because shes still got the newborn skin stuff going on, but she had no bumps yesterday morning, had a green poop, we went to the park, came home, undressed her, and she was covered in little red dots from her chin down her belly and on her uper back and down one side. At first I thought maybe detergent, but is never happened before and nothing has changed there. It looked very similar to when DD1 had roseola as a younger toddler, but DD2 had no fever or anything like that today or yesterday, just lots of red raised dots and a few that looked more like welts.
So now I'm back to thinking food, esp with the green poop....I tried to re-intro egg on Thurs night, and she reacted within hours with mucous poop and a return to colic (we were basically at baseline before the egg). So, we took egg back out, and went back to top 8 free incl. all gluten, plus citrus, tomato, and strawberry. We were still having mucous, but not as bad, and about 80% reduction in colic when I (stupidly) decided it would be a good idea to eat some "enjoy life" allergen-free trail mix Sun night. It has chocolate in it, and also pumpkin seeds (I've had sunflower seed w/ no reaction before), two new foods for her. We also went out with friends and I ate a baked potato, but I talked directly to the manager who confirmed it was olive oil, salt, pepper only.
Mon morning was the green poop, complete with black flecks which I'm going to guess is blood, making it our worst reaction yet. And a return of the all day colic. And then, like I said, the bumps after returning from the park. Now her poop is back to normal today, and her mood is almost back at baseline already. I've given away the trail mix and sworn off chocolate, pumpkin seeds, and restaurants, but I still feel lost as to what caused the reaction, and also, my question for all you wise mamas: Do you think the bumps are hives? part of the reaction or a coincidence? The skin over her bumps on her chin feels really dry too....
It seems like with each food I take out, her reaction to another allergen is worse and worse
This all started with colic and now she has full body rashes?!
Can I also tell you all how much just reading the threads here have helped me? I feel REALLY alone in this. I also really appriciate everyone who has replied to my other questions too, even though I know a lot of you have BTDT months or years ago. It really means a lot to me.
oh, ETA: she still has the rash today, though its faded a lot, you can only really SEE the ones on her chin and the 3 that looked like welts. You can still feel some bumps on her bacl/belly but they aren't bright red or as raised anymore
not the best pic quality (my camera sucks) but heres last night, you can see it covering her chest and on her arm a bit:

and today close up on one that looked more like a welt (under the armpit kinda, its blurry, but the big red spot):
