My daughters are 4, and 1. I have nevvvvvvvvvver met another like minded mom in my area. I could really use a friend/playdate mommy to talk to and hang out with. I don't ever really get a chance to be on the computer much (I don't know how you moms do it). But maybe just maybe some mommy like me is close out there and readying this and will e-mail me, and I'll find the time to start a friendship that I desperately need.

Not sure if you are still breastfeeding or if you even did to begin with - but the Treasure Coast LLL is a wealth of great like minded mamas. I loved being able to go to the Ft Pierce meetings (now I work Saturdays).
I'd say join the yahoo group - even if you are not a BFing mama - and post up a intro. There are meetings - but also extra things like picnics in the park and stuff like that. THey post different community events too. It is a nice place for APing mamas, not just LLL mamas. atleast IMO

Thank you for the advice. I think I'll go to a LLL meeting, and hopefull find some friends. I just don't think this area has many natural living mamas.
