Mother harrassed by security for expressing milk in Parents Room!

What the hell are Parent's rooms for?

I'm speechless. The comments on the article are heartening though. This happened in Australia.

"A YOUNG mother was followed by police and security officers through a shopping mall then questioned after a complaint over her expressing breast milk in a parents room..."

The complaint started because a little kid saw her, people should watch their children, not letting them invade other people's privacy!
It also sucks that she can only express once a day during lunch, I wouldn't be able to pump enough from just one time ( I now don't even have enough from 3 times a day).

Oh for goodness sake!

nak That article really makes me feel sad! : It was hard for me to feel comfortable in my locked classroom when I worked and pumped for dd. I can't imagine what she felt.

Oh, good grief. In a parents room, behind a curtain!

What a ridiculous story. Do people not have common sense??

I liked the comment that said something like, "Next we'll all hear the shocking news that a man exposed himself ... while standing at a urinal!"

That's just sad.

Why would anyone be looking behind a curtain to begin with? This story is sad.

That is just horrifying.

I was happy to see, though, that the vast majority of the comments on the article supported the bf mother.
