I just found out that One Straw Farm http://www.onestrawfarm.com/index.html

delivers there SCA's to MOM's in Columbia. This is super close to me! They charge:

CSA 2008 Prices:

This year the season runs from June 2 through November 22nd.

25 Weeks
$525 if Paid in Full by June 1, 2008
$23 per week if one joins at any time during the growing season. Prorated until the end of the season.

Is this a good price?

It seems to be the going rate. Cromwell Valley is about the same and they have a number of hours you have to work there.

My only complaint with OSF this year is that the watermelons and corn seemed to start kinda late. Also, they're a good one to use if you eat a LOT of leafy greens, but I felt like a lot of ours' got wasted because dh and the kids aren't into salad and greens.

I'm on the waiting list to try Cromwell Valley next year. It looks like they do more fruit than OSF, which my kids eat tons of.

Seems like a good rate. We pay about 20/week to Calvert Farms.

We LOVE Calvert Farms!!!!

I don't know how we would survive without our weekly visit to the farm
