soo here is my long but totally worth it birth story
friday aug 22 at noon my water started leaking i decided to stay home since i was having noo contrx at 6pm i decided to go over to a bridal shower since i was bored at home still no contrx i staied their for 2hrs got bored then came home
at aug 23 at 1am i started having contrx soo we finially headed to hosiptal hubby was getting worried soo callied my doula to meet us their
i get their at 145am contrx are some what strong 3 mins apart lasting a min and each contrx was right their in my cervix it felt like my cervix was going to rip open boy did those hurt the doc on call checked me and i was 5cm 90% but she was not a vbac friendly doc and would not give me pitcin to make the contrx stronger soo i labored like that for ever she also hooked up my meds since i was GSB+
at 8am my doc finially comes to check on me i and she checks me i can noo longer talk through contrx and iam dieing or at least my cervix was dieing soo she hooks up pit since i was still 5cm 90% and i begged for pit
at 5pm she comes back to check on me still noo epi pit on full blast and iam still 5cm 90% i tell her iam stallied this baby is not comming out and i asked her what if i get the epi will that help me dilate more and she said we can try but u r already soo relaxed as it is during contrx and i said well if it doesnt work at least i will be ready for a c section if it is needed soo she said well what do u want
i said give me the epi and turn off the pit soo i get epi and omg it hurt like a mofo totally hurt i was crying and saying i change my mind i dont want it take it out
soo i get it at 6pm as soon as it starts working the babies heart rate dropps totally we could not find it at all and my blood pressure dropped and my doc is yelling get her on all 4s and lets move now people lets go go go go
5 mins of me being on all 4s my blood pressure goes back up the babies heart rate is back up and i dialte to 7 cm lol
7pm their is still trouble with babies heart rate iam still only 7cm and i look at my doc c section i want this baby out and their is something wrong please get him out and she said yep i was going to say the same thing
730pm aug 23 my baby boy is born by c section he came out with the cord wrapped around his whole body he was 7lbs 2oz and 19.5 inches long that is why he was not moving down into the birth canal and that is why my body stopped dilating iam soo happy about my birth and would not change one thing and would do it over a million times
he was not crying when he was born he was having breathing problems his heart was racing soo they took him to NICU to watch him and they said after 48 hrs if he does good he can be back with me well i told the NICU nurse noo bottles noo formula and noo paci and she said ohh ok
as soon as i got feeling back in my legs i was yelling at the nurses to put me in a wheele chair soo i can go to NICU to see my son and nurse him but they said i had to wait 12 hrs the longest 12 hrs of my life soo i asked for a breast pump and every 2 hrs for 45 mins i was pumping all night long
730am aug 24 12 hrs was up i was in a wheel chair and down at NICU yelling at the nurses their cause they said i couldnt nurse my son cause they wanted to know how much milk he was getting and i said well if my boobs came with an oz meter then that would be great but they dont soo how do u plain on that happening when i said noo to bottles formula and pacis and right when i was about to pull my boob out and nurse my baby anyways my pedi showed up and asked if i nursed him yet and did skin to skin and i said noo they wont let me and she said hold on and then the nurse came to me and said i could nurse my son and i said duh u think i was going to do that anyways
soo i nursed him for 1 hr then i had to go back to my room cause my doc was their waiting for me and i told the nurses to call me when he wakes up wanting to nurse again
every 2 hrs i was down at NICU nursing my son for 48 hrs i got noo sleep cause all i did was nurse and pump and then syring feed my son what i pumped out all while recoving from a c section
the LC came in and asked how many oz he was getting of formula cause he didnt lose any weight he gained 3 oz and i said formula u got to be joking right he is not getting any formula he is all breast
soo monday aug 25 at 6pm he was finially out of NICU and i could finally sleep and relax after having a c section and i noo longer had to pump and go to NICU every 2 hrs for about 1.5 hrs day and night lol
tuesday aug 26 they said he had jaudice soo they hooked up the lights in my room cause i told them he is not going to the nursary and the nurses said we know we need u in ur room and relaxing soo he is staying in ur room lol he was in their maybe 12 hrs i was nursing him every 2hrs for 30 mins and back to pumping and syring feeding in between nursing soo i didnt get much sleep
wednesday aug 27 6am my pedi came him and said he doesnt have to be under the lights any more soo she checked him then handed him to me since i was in bed and we both slept until noon lol
1pm we were finially sent home and my son made it through all this with noo formula bottle and i made it through with noo sleep lol and lots of pain lol but now i can finially sleep and rest
