After about a year and a half of knitting kitty pi beds, scarves, hats, fingerless gloves, buddy blankets, dishcloths, etc., I finally made a real garment. :

Easy Peasy Tee

There are a couple of whoopsies here and there, but I love it anyway.

what did you think of that pattern? I am loving that sweater (and thanks for showing ap icture of it on!) and want to mak it. is it pretty doable for a person with moderate skills?

So pretty! I am afraid of making anything adult sized because of the time involved. How long did it take you to make that?

I love this pattern! I chose it for the ease of knitting (I have moderate skills at best) and b/c it's all knit in one piece (top down). I have a fear of setting in sleeves, b/c that always gave me so much trouble when I was sewing.

Skills needed are starting a round without twisting, basic knitting/purling/increases/decreases, YO, ssk, and picot bind-off (this was a new skill for me, but it's explained very well in the pattern instructions).

One thing I love about this garment is that it's SHAPED. It's difficult to see in the photo, but there are actually princess seams knit right in, from the bustline to the waist, which give it the nice feminine shape.

It took about a month, working sporadically. Once you get past the sleeves, it's quick; and after the princess seaming it's just straight knitting until the last few rows.

If I had worked on it steadily, I think it would have taken maybe 2 weeks or so.
