Anyone know when "The Bay" has storewide sales?

The reason I'm asking this is that I'm looking to get one of their signature "Point" wool blankets, and at $375.00 for a Queen size they're not cheap!

It would be absolutely great to get one on sale... So do you know when they go on sale (or possibly even a storewide sale), and how much discounts are?

I pass through a bay store on my lunch hour about three times a week -- and I can tell you that they rarely, if ever go on sale. I've never actually seen one on sale. Your best bet might be traditional "White Sale" time -- around January, and then perhaps right about now when they're getting ready to put out fall stock.

Good luck -- I think I'd be trying Ebay to see if I could get a deal. I've always wanted one too, but have never been able to bring myself to spend that much for a blanket!

Ellp, as a (long time ago) former part time Bay employee, I don't remember ever seeing them on sale, especially not at "tourist-time". I would suggest calling the linen department or visiting the store and speaking to someone in that department, and asking directly when they go on sale, and how much off. You should get an honest answer. I would guess it would be post-Christmas, or maybe right before, as a one-time only pre-Christmas sale.

Ive had the same idea for some years now too. but you will be lucky to see one on sale. trying e-bay sounds like a good idea, you would really have to check the condition of it.:
