I got a used serger on ebay & this morning I figured out how to thread it. Now I'm serging . Life is good! : I think I'll celebrate by going to JoAnns & digging through their clearance for diaper making materials.

Yay for sergers! Even if you aren't the best of sewers, they make your finished product look so professional. I love 'em!

Congratulations!! I just got one too, but am too chicken to sit down and give it a try yet.

I am a relatively new serger as well...what's the best way to finish so that the ends don't unravel? For example, I'm serging 2-layer flannel cloth wipes, and even though I flip it and serge the opposite direction at the end, it still starts to unravel after a few trips to the wash. Any thoughts?
